Namibia has decided to cancel visa-free regime for Belarusians starting from April 1, 2025.
Namibia is canceling the visa-free regime for Belarusians starting from April 1, 2025. This follows from the data of the local tourist website namibian.org.
The message states that Namibia has decided to introduce visas for citizens of some European countries. Among these countries is Belarus. Let us recall that previously Belarusians could enter the country without a visa.
It is noted that the decision of the Namibian government is related to the fact that many of the countries do not provide visa-free conditions for the country's citizens. It is said that the authorities have excluded 31 countries from the visa-free list.
Now citizens of Belarus wishing to travel to this African country need to obtain a visa at the consulates and diplomatic missions of Namibia, the nearest of which is located in Moscow. A visa can also be obtained upon arrival at two airports and some land border checkpoints. The cost of a visa for citizens who are not part of the African Union is 1600 Namibian dollars — about 80 euros.
