Cuba is introducing electronic visas starting from July 1. But there's a catch for Belarusians.

Starting from July 1, the Republic of Cuba is introducing electronic visas. This was reported to the BELTA correspondent by the country's embassy in Belarus.
Currently, an electronic visa operates on an equal footing with a regular entry document. And starting from July 1, tourists will be able to enter Cuba only with an electronic visa. According to the Cuban side, the innovation will simplify border crossing.
However, as explained at the embassy, there is a nuance concerning Belarusian tourists. Belarusians can stay in Cuba without a visa for up to 30 days, as provided by the intergovernmental Belarusian-Cuban agreement on mutual visa-free travel. Thus, the innovations introduced with the electronic visa do not apply to Belarusian tourists, who can still visit Cuba without a visa for a period of up to 30 days.
