Poland has officially notified Belarus of the opening time of the border. This was reported by the State Border Committee of Belarus.
"The State Border Committee has received an official notification from the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland about the opening of checkpoints on the Belarusian-Polish border closed almost two weeks ago from one o'clock in the morning on September 25, Belarusian time," the message says.
We are talking about the Brest — Terespol and Kozlovichi — Kukuryki automobile checkpoints, as well as four railway border crossings: Grodno — Kuznitsa-Bialystokskaya, Berestovitsa — Zubki Bialystoksky, Svisloch — Semyonovka and Brest — Terespol.
Earlier, all border checkpoints were closed by decision of Poland from September 12, 2025 due to the joint Belarusian-Russian exercises Zapad-2025. Poles have strung barbed wire even at railway checkpoints. And now, almost two weeks later, the border will reopen.
