Belarusians no longer need visas to enter another country — it's easy to get there.

    06.10.2025
Holders of national passports can stay in the country without interruption for a whole month.

The foreign ministers of Belarus and Oman signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption, BelTA reports.

The solemn ceremony took place at the Palace of Independence in the presence of the leaders of the two countries, Alexander Lukashenko and Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.

Under the agreement, Belarusians are exempt from the need to obtain visas for entry, exit and transit if they stay in Oman for no more than a month.

The conclusion of the agreement will contribute to the development and strengthening of cooperation between Belarus and Oman, as well as simplifying mutual travel for citizens.

Flights from Belarus are already operating

Belarusians have been able to fly to Oman, located next to the UAE, since February last year. Since October, the charter program is not only resuming but also expanding significantly.

Instead of one flight every 10–11 days, there will be two chains. The first frequency starts in October, and the second is added on December 8. It is planned to transport about 4,500 tourists by the end of the season.

Flights are operated by a modern Boeing 737-8. It is equipped with a business class for 12 seats and 162 seats in economy.

       Why Oman is interesting

Oman's climate and beaches are compared to the Seychelles and Maldives. In winter, Dubai, Qatar and Egypt cool down slightly, while in Salalah the temperature remains stable between +25 and 32°C with comfortable low humidity.

Oman is not a mass destination, which attracts tourists looking for new experiences without 12-hour flights. It has everything for tourism: desert, mountains, tropical forests, sea and ocean, and a unique ancient culture.

At the moment, the country is mainly chosen by couples of different ages. There are not many families with children yet.

The cost of tours for autumn 2025 starts from Br3500–4000 for 9–10 days per person, accommodation in a 4–5* hotel. Prices depend on the type of meals and the date of departure.
