The Ministry of Education assessed the preparation of migrants for exams in the state language: what does the percentage of those who passed the test indicate

    11.11.2025
In Belarus, almost 600 migrants have passed the exam on knowledge of one of the state languages since the end of September.

According to the department's data, about 80% of the test participants demonstrated positive results, writes a correspondent for the online publication BelNovosti.

About 600 people took part in the testing, of which about 80% passed it successfully, said Sergei Pishchov, head of the Department of Professional Education of the Ministry of Education, to BELTA.

Foreigners who successfully passed the exam received documents allowing them to find employment in their chosen professions.

Since September 30, three exams have taken place. The high percentage of those who passed the test successfully indicates that foreign workers are well-prepared and have the necessary knowledge.

The next exam on knowledge of the state language will be held on November 17. Preparatory work is currently underway.

By the decision of the department, two more venues were organized for the exams — the Belarusian State Technological University and the Belarusian National Technical University.

Soon they will begin to accept applications from migrants, but they will not be involved in the testing on November 17.
